MoginRubin LLP is proud to announce that our Managing Partner, Daniel Mogin, has been selected by Best Lawyers as a Best Lawyer 2021 in the areas of Antitrust Litigation, Mass Tort Litigation, and Plaintiffs Class Actions. This is the fourth consecutive time that Mr. Mogin has received the honor. The Best Lawyers nomination and selection process is based entirely on peer reviews instead of a selection committee. As Mr. Mogin is often seen as a “lawyer’s lawyer” and is frequently sought by other attorneys to consult or collaborate on cases, not surprisingly, his peers have recognized and rewarded his talents, experience, and expertise.
Dan Mogin’s approach to antitrust law is unique. He regards the private enforcement of antitrust law as a formidable instrument in the fight for the cause of free enterprise, a powerful tool that market participants can use to combat interference in markets and ultimately achieve the full degree of business success to which they are entitled. He has devoted his entire career to developing antitrust jurisprudence that promotes competition, consumers, and the correction of injustice in the marketplace.
Mr. Mogin has received numerous awards for his dedication to Antitrust. To name a few, in 2018, he was honored in the Jury Verdict Reporter’s Trial Lawyer Excellence Awards, he has been recognized twice by the Legal Aid Society of San Diego for his Pro Bono work, and by both the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for being an “Outstanding Community Leader.” In addition, Mr. Mogin has received the Sylvia Siegal Award which recognizes professionals who continue to identify injustices faced by consumers.
His high achievements and relentless advocacy on behalf of plaintiffs and classes nationwide, commitment to promoting the highest moral character and ethics in the plaintiffs’ bar, and contributions to what is now the CLA Antitrust, UCL & Privacy Section demonstrate that Dan Mogin truly is a Best Lawyer, and is more than deserving of this honor. Congratulations, Dan!
