Trade Regulation

Like the antitrust statutes, trade regulation laws guard free markets, promote honest competition and protect market participants. Private parties are empowered to enforce certain state and federal regulations, including through the Little FTC Acts. Examples of trade regulation matters include regulated industries, false advertising, failure to substantiate product claims, labeling violations, misbranding, unsafe products, false or deceptive marketing activities, unfair business practices and violations of local and state business regulations and privacy laws.

MoginRubin lawyers have substantial experience in trade regulation litigation and have worked with the federal and state agencies tasked with enforcing these laws.
