On January 28, 2021, MoginRubin’s Jennifer Oliver argued in front a panel of Federal Judges in Washington D.C. as counsel for a proposed nationwide class of consumers against defendant Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants. Oliver urged the JPML to consider the nuances and challenges of the novel California Consumer Privacy Act which took effect in January 2020 when deciding if and where to consolidate the existing cases.
